It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Diehl (Bedford, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 16, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Koontz and Lena Koontz (Shaffer); her grandson Bryan L. Evans; and her siblings, Charles, Ray, Stanley Koontz, Margaret Beegle, Mary Moose, Sara Pittman and Eleanor Baker.

She is survived by: her spouse Merle E. Diehl; her children, Donna K. Roberts (Sam) of Bedford, Doris M. Evans (Dean) of Red Lion and Jerry L. Diehl of Bedford; and her grandchildren, JoEllen Weaverling (Mike), Justin Roberts (Kate), Jeff Evans (Julie), Jason Evans (Katie) and Colt Diehl. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
