He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Shippy and Helen I. Shippy (Hillegass); and his wife Gloria Jean (Cramer). He is survived by: his siblings, Norma Eshelman of Irwin, Warren "Butch" Shippy of Buffalo Mills and Randy (Debbie); and his children, Michael, Robert, Bobbi Jo and Mary Grace. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc. (3779 Pitt St, Schellsburg, PA 15559). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
