It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hoover of Bedford, Pennsylvania, born in Saint Clair, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald K. Hoover and Verneta Hoover (Gilson); his wife Patricia Hoover; and his sister Patricia Weist. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara and Jennifer; his stepdaughters, Nora L. Seyler (James) of West Lawn, Cynthia Farmer of Florida and Brenda A. Breidegam of Pottstown; and his siblings, Kenneth (Janet Hoover) of Arizona, Carol Hoover of Bedford and Larry (Margaret Hoover) of Michigan. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
