He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grover and Lillian Irene Hammond (Smith); and his grandson Brandyn Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Pearl Hammond (May); his children, John Hammond (Peggy) of Bedford, Alan Hammond (Susan) of Bedford, Debra Stewart (Robert) of Leola and Cheryl Drozynski (Joseph) of Mechanicsburg; his grandchildren, Beth Ann Schnieder, Kelcy Shaffer, Kaleb Hammond, Jason Stewart, Sarah Montague, Matthew Drozynski and Sean Drozynski; and his sister Joanne Hammond of Bedford. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
