He is survived by: his mother Lorraine (Border); his wife Mary Batzel; his children, Julia Reffner, Shayna Batzel (Thomas Wylie) and Matthew Batzel; his grandson Braylen Pettit; and his siblings, Deb Rose of Everett, Audrey Baughman of Georgia, Clyde Batzel (Edna) of Bedford, Russel Rhodes (Betty) of Florida and Dale Batzel (Kelly) of Bedford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
