She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Snyder and Grace Snyder (Jay); her husband Jay D. Smith Jr.; and her siblings, Wilbert, Paul Snyder, Marietta Sands, Kathleen Harclerode and Betty Jane Baker.

She is survived by: her children, Jay Smith of New York City, Adam Smith (Christine) of Bedford, Dr. Brian Smith (Mary Jo Hughes) of Delmar, NY and Sherry O'Shurak (William) of Bedford; her grandchildren, Zach O'Shurak (Shannon) of Allison Park, Dr. Lucas Smith (Meghan) of Seattle and Rebecca Hughes Smith of Delmar; her great grandchildren, Seamus Smith, Zoey and Jaxon O'Shurak; her brother Marvin Snyder (Nancy) of Everett; and her caregivers, Dee, Jessica and Polly.

The family requests those in attendance wear a face mask.
