He was predeceased by: his parents, William Keel and Elsie Keel (Hann); his son Michael; and his siblings, Norman, William, Donald, Oliver Keel, Rosie Reeb, Florine Sealover, Pauline Keel and Annabelle Berkebile.

He is survived by: his daughter Amy Craig of North Carolina; his granddaughters, Tori Craig of New Enterprise and Abbey Craig of North Carolina; and his sisters, Mary Claar (late Jack) of Bedford and Dorothy Kagarise of Mifflintown.
