He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Diehl and Mary Diehl (Beegle); his wife Ruth Diehl (Koontz); his grandson Bryan Evans; and his siblings, Allen, Harold, Raymond Diehl and Madelyn McPherson.
He is survived by: his children, Donna K. Roberts (Sam) of Bedford, Doris M. Evans (Dean) of Red Lion and Jerry L. Diehl of Bedford; and his grandchildren, JoEllen Weaverling (Mike), Justin Roberts (Kate), Jeff Evans (Julie), Jason Evans (Katie) and Colt Diehl. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
