With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Smith (Bedford, Pennsylvania), born in Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on September 3, 2019 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Divelbliss and Carrie Divelbliss (Diehl); her husband Harold W. Smith; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald E. Smith (Nancy) of Bedford, Kenneth H. Smith (Lillian) of Waynesboro and Dwayne E. Smith (Edith) of Bedford; her grandchildren, Jeff Smith (Tammie) of East Freedom, Lori Smith (Doug) of Waynesboro, Kelli Smith, Marcia Wakeman (Russell) of Everett and Scot Smith (Marki) of Bedford; her stepgrandchildren, Kathy Reid of Clear Spring, MD, Kevin Dickens of Charlestown and Kevin Scott of Waynesboro; her brother Herbert Divelbliss of Crystal Springs; her sister-in-law Olive Divelbliss of Hancock, MD; her niece Sharlet Hull; and her close friend Leotta Taylor of Deep Creek, MD.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
