She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gordon and Edith Marie Gordon (Shillingburg). She is survived by: her husband Virgil C. Loar Jr.; her siblings, Betty Rankin of Cumberland, MD and Harry Gordon of Westernport, MD; her nephew John Rankin (Jessica); her niece Debbie Benson; her sister-in-law Sue Cook; her caregiver Paul Tew; and her close friend Tina Spano. She is also survived by 5 great-nieces; 4 great-nephews.
