It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Claar of Bedford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Keel and Elsie Keel (Hann); her husband Jack E. Claar; her daughter Etta Claar; and her siblings, Norman, William, Donald, Orville, Oliver, Pauline Keel, Anabelle Berkebile, Rosie Reeb, Florine Keel and Dorothy Kagarise.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Taylor (Lenny) of Bedford and Kenneth E. Claar (Diane) of Bedford; and her grandchildren, Brandy Nave (Terry) of Bedford, Deanna Park (Andy) of Three Springs, Kenneth E. Claar Jr. (Ambry) of Somerset, Jack R. Claar of Altoona and Ryan Taylor of Bedford. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
