She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Brode and Luella Brode; her husband Avery C. Thomas; her daughter Dianne Thomas Sultan; and her brother Ross Blair Brode.
She is survived by: her daughter Lucinda Dianne; her grandchildren, Mara S. Sultan of Lancaster and Aaron (Cheryl) of Rolesville; her great grandchildren, Karen Vazquez (Sal) of North Carolina, Melissa of North Carolina, Julie of North Carolina, Laura of North Carolina, Adam of North Carolina and Beth of North Carolina; her nephews, Ross Brode (Sharon) of Reedsville, PA and Steve Brode (Amy) of Florida; and her niece Vonna Thomas (Mark) of Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
