She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Novotny and Anna Novotny (Misinay); and her siblings, Joseph, Albert, Frank, Helen Galus, Stephen and Mary Plonka.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald L. Hawk Sr.; her son Gerald L. Hawk Jr. (Joan) of Bedford; and her sister Catherine Stehnach of Johnstown.
