He was predeceased by: his parent Edward Thomas Oney; his wife Geneva Oney; and his siblings, Mary Nancy Oney, Lottie Cochran, Lennie Miller, Louella Alderton, David Nelson and Clarence Oney.
He is survived by: his parent Betty Katherine Oney (Patterson); and his children, Dolores Watt of Dundalk, MD, Lawrence E. Oney, Jr (Renee), Sharon Scriver of Dundalk, MD, Robert Oney (Marlene), Deborah Jones-Buglio (John) and Barbara Mitchell of Dundalk, MD. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
