He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred J. Koontz and Ruth S. Koontz (Sollenberger). He is survived by: his brothers, Gregg F. (Lorri) and Malcolm J. (Tracy); and his nieces and nephews, Josiah, Kelsey, David, Nicole and Joseph.
