He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Fox and Effie Fox (Shoemaker); his wife Phyllis H. Fox (Holliday); his daughter Teresa Gale Fox; and his siblings, Bill Fox, Sam Fox, John Fox, Helen Stone, Clara Williams and Midge Peterson.

He is survived by: his granddaughters, Sophie Jo and Stella Grace Fox; and also Kellie Coll of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
