He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Robert Mortimore and Helen Mortimore (Clites); and his siblings, Madeline Zimmers, Jim, Lawrence, Richard and Tom Mortimore.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harry (Mary), Joyce (Jim Comp) of Bedford, Donna (Frank Holler) of Buffalo Mills, John (Sandy) and Rita (Randy College) of Schellsburg; and his sisters-in-law, Wilma Mortimore of Bedford and Linda Mortimore of Bedford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
