It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Smith (Bedford, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 3, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Lemuel Lohr and Catherine Lohr (Berkey); her husband Clarence Oscar Smith; her daughter Janet Conover; and her siblings, Ivan, Carl, Earl Lohr, Keturah Turner, Edna Bussard and Marie Hiner.
She is survived by: her children, Ada C. (late Carl Ferguson) and Carl "Butch" B. (Vickie); her son-in-law John Conover; her grandchildren, Christopher Conover, Amanda Smith and Julie (Derek Chastain); her great grandchildren, Arianna, Megan, Chase, Haley and Will; and her great great grandchild Emma. She is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Great-great Nieces and Nephews.
