She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Jane McNutt (Adams) and Harry Edward Ferguson; her husband Gerald S. Smith; and her brother Chester Adams. She is survived by: her children, Geraldine S. (Robert Dobos) of Lincoln, NE and Gerald S. Smith, Jr. of Bedford, PA; her grandsons, Daniel, Jacob, Samuel Dobos and Joshua Smith; her siblings, David Adams (Sylvia), Rodney Adams, Nina Jane (Bryan Young) and Bruce Wheeler II; and her sister-in-law Mary Adams. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
