He was predeceased by: his father Harry C. Karns; his wife Norma Karns (Merwa); his daughter Veronica Grace Karns; and his sister Gail Ann Karns. He is survived by: his mother Therese K. Karns (Hickey); his children, Katie Karns-Simmons (Chase Simmons), Shelia Karns and William A. Karns; and his siblings, Kathy (Jeff Wright), TerryAnn (Marty Runion), John Karns and Kim Karns. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
