He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Bowman and Margaret Bowman (Ondriezek); his spouse Beverly A. Bowman (Reed); his son Ralph E. Bowman; and his sister Thelma Richards.
He is survived by: his children, George D. Bowman (Diane) of Belsano and Margaret Bowen of Grayson, GA; his grandchildren, Michael Bowman of Boykins, VA and Renee Laughard (Michael); and his siblings, Rocks, Jane Brown (George) of Bedford and Clara Johnson (Michael) of Johnstown. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
