He was predeceased by: his parents, George Casteel and Helen Casteel (McDaniel); his wife Nancy Casteel (Hixon); his brother Wayne Casteel; and his girlfriend Joyce Brallier.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna J. Mowry (Edwin) and Karen Valine (Alan); his grandchildren, Rustyn Page, Tyler Mowry, Alexis Moses and Alexander Calhoun; his great grandchildren, Caden, Jaxson, Jianna, Cyleigh, Raelynn and Greysen Page; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Justin, Haylea, Trysten, Arianna, Kaiser and Paislea.
