He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter C. Sams and Florence M. Sams (Diehl); his siblings, Gary (Patsy) and Sharon (Sam Bowers) of Clear Spring, MD.; his wife Betty Jane "Janie" (Clites); his children, Tricia Fetter (Ryan) of Bedford, PA and Aaron Sams (Janelle); and his grandchildren, Jay Fetter, Sierra Pittman, Alexis Fetter, McKenzie Pittman of Joshua Fetter, A. J and Jack Sams.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Akers Funeral Home (299 Raystown Rd, Everett, PA 15537). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
