He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Norman and Edith E. Smith (Longstreth). He is survived by: his wife Carol S. Williams; and his sons, T. J. Williams (Karlee) of Osterburg, Daniel Smith Jr. of Hyndman and Brad Smith of Valencia. He is also survived by three grandsons.
