He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence J. Berkebile and Mary Berkebile (Mintmier); his spouse Lavade "Scooter" Berkebile (Parks); his sister Catherine Berkebile; and his daughters-in-law, Mary Ann and Lynne Berkebile.
He is survived by: his sons, Ric Berkebile (Jane) of Bedford and Tim Berkebile (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jocelyn Swanick (Bill) of Huntersville, NC, Mark Berkebile (Susan) of Chambersburg, Aaron Berkebile (Amber) of Bedford and Leah Lybarger (Bedford); and his stepgranddaughter Misty Black of Saxton. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren and one step-great-great grandson, and one sister-in-law.
