It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Parfitt of Bedford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloyd F. Merkle and Beulah R. Merkle (Wonders); and her husband Albert E. Parfitt. She is survived by: her sons, William R. (Diana) of Harlem, Albert E. of Bedford and John L. (Lisa) of Sanford; her grandchildren, Bryan Parfitt and Kandyce Salik (Parfitt); and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Sophia Parfitt, Colton and Logan Salik.
