He was predeceased by: his father William H. May. He is survived by: his mother Bonita J. May (Calhoun); and his siblings, Lesa Harman (David) of Stafford, VA and Jeffrey Ward (Susan) of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
