He is survived by: his fiancée Debra Stout; his children, Jeff Derr (Wendy Bean), Michelle "Shelli" Kohler (Rich Troxell) and Heather Buck (Bradley S.); his stepchildren, Steve Greth (Krista), Cari Schaffer (Mark) and Dana Powers (Gregg); his siblings, Will Derr, Jackie, Jean Ann and Sarah; and his grandchildren, Devon Tate, Taylor Greth, Ethan Selfinger, Jeffrey Buck, Jake Buck, Austin Selfinger, Jadyn Selfinger and Isabel McCarty.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to the Vets for Vets (32 4th St., Pennsburg 18073) in James' name.
