He is survived by: his children, Diana Conary (Maurice) of O'Fallon, IL and William H. Ickes (Vicky) of Sidman; his grandchildren, Joshua (Jen), Greg, Kayla, Krista and Kevin; and his siblings, Melvin Ickes of Rhinebeck, NY, Betty Progar of Overland Park, Virginia Daley of Lousiville, OH and Vera Ickes of Sidman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
