She was predeceased by: her parent Allison Mae Best; and her husband Thomas E. Metcalf. She is survived by: her children, Susan Bevington (Dennis) and Thomas Metcalf (Cindy); her grandsons, Jacob Bevington (Crissy), Samuel Bevington, Benjamin Bevington (Regina) and Jeff Tracy; her great grandchildren, Sarah Bevington, Joshua Murphy, Chad Murphy, Lydia Casper and Cassie Casper; and her close friend Jean Cornell. She is also survived by numerous relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Children's Hospital, or the Salvation Army.
