She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Stepek and Nellie Stepek (Polnar); her former husband Thomas Cekovich; her husband Theodore Takas; and her siblings, Joseph, Charles Stepek and Mary Glover.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Cekovich (Luann) and Beverly Young (Clair) of Darlington; her grandchildren, Ronald Young (Bethann), Loren Young (Tracie), Tanya Bartholomew (Richard) and Sean Cekovich (Natalie); her great grandchildren, Jacob Young (Taylor), Luke Young, Cheyenne Young, Zoey Young, Taylor Young, Felicia Young, Jackson Cekovich, Maria Cekovich, Anthony Cekovich and Liam Bartholomew; and her great great grandchild Leo Young. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
