She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest H. Brown and Augusta Luzell Brown; her husband Captain Herbert J; her siblings, Martha Lohr and Ernest H. Brown, Jr.; her brother-in-law Edward Stout; and her stepson Dr. Richard Hartman.
She is survived by: her sister Lillian Brown Stout; her sister-in-law Virginia Brown of Williamsburg, VA; her nieces and nephews, Brenda Applegate (Roger), Chuck Stout, Diane Jacoby (John) of Dover, PA, Julie Modany (Rob), Ohioville, Karen Hooker (Darrell) of Williamsburg, VA, Ernest "Buzz" Brown III (Mary) of Williamsburg, VA and Neil Lohr of Sequim, WA; and her stepchildren, Dr. David Hartman, MD (Ann Marie) and Dr. Margaret. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
