He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Nathaniel and Mary Ellen Berry Sr. (Strother); and his siblings, Van Berry, Sharon Tucker, Roxie "Mabel" Berry and Joyce Berry.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Susan Rodgers; his children, Kay Ellen Massey, William Robert Berry Jr. (Wendi), Krista Jean Norman and Christina Renee Berry; his stepchildren, Chasidy Crawford, Dale Rodgers and Chad Rodgers; his brothers, Ray Nathaniel Berry III (Diane), Terry Berry, Frank Berry and Phillip Berry (Evelyn); and his former wife Jacque Berry. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
