He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Liberty and Evelyn T. Liberty; his wife Patricia L. Liberty; and his brothers, Ralph, Andrew and Alfred Liberty.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas A. Liberty (Kimberly) and Lisa L. Kohlmann (Mark); his grandchildren, Michael (Jessie), Matthew and Victoria Kohlmann; his brother Daniel Liberty (Shirley Liberty); and his nieces and nephews, Kelly McCormick of Florida, Jennifer Artiaga of Florida and Brianna Diaz of Florida.
