With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Hansel Copeland of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Hansel and Catherine Camilla Rice Copeland; his wife Catherine J. Hengler Copeland; and his brother John Copeland. He is survived by: his children, R. Hansel Copeland of Morgantown, WV and Andrea J. Copeland (Thomas McDowell) of Indianapolis, IN; his granddaughter Carissa Hilscher; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Hilscher and Noah Hilscher; his siblings, Roger Copeland (Vicki) of Forest, VA, Gerald Copeland (Marilyn) of San Diego, CA, Irene Upshur of Chester Gap, VA and Gaynelle Ayers (Scott) of Virginia Beach, VA; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Copeland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
