It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Murphy (Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mendel Murphy and Virginia Murphy (Lee); his daughter Beth Anne Chinn; his sister-in-law Nancy Murphy; and his pet Maggie.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne Murphy (Snyder); his children, Kimberley Phillips, Mendel "Brian" Murphy (Heather Metheny) and Glenn Murphy; his grandchildren, Ariel Murphy, Paul Solano, Victoria Cider, Brienna Phillips, Cherish Cobert and Christopher Murphy; his stepgrandchildren, Amber Sopko and Gary Phillips, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Joey, Luke and Eli; his brother Lee Murphy; and his daughter-in-law Tina Marie Murphy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (117 Blackhawk Rd, Beaver Falls, PA 15010). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
