He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Berchtold and Etta Berchtold (Hites); his wife Wilda Jean Berchtold (Megill); and his sister Marylyn Reisinger (Jean). He is survived by: his children, Robert Clinton (Lillian Berchtold), Chippewa Twp, Cathy Lynne (Lou Markovich), Christy Ann (Larry Linke) and Connie Sue Berchtold; his grandchildren, Jason (Mark McCormick), Brian (Abby Markovich), Nicolas (Brandy), Christian (Nathan Berchtold) and Brett J. (Kyle T. Sherbine); and his great grandchildren, Jordyn McCormick, Bryce, Cade, Olivia McCormick, Maci Berchtold and Tyler Hrenko.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, a maximum of 25 people will be permitted in the funeral home at a time, social distancing will be practiced at the funeral home and church, and masks are mandatory at the visitation, funeral service, and cemetery.
