He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Michael and Lillian Pearl Benden (Harr); his wife Eleanor Benden; and his siblings, Homer Benden, Lyman Benden, Freida Estermyer, Faber Benden and Aloysius Benden.
He is survived by: his children, Howard Benden (Kerstin), Linda Alberti and Denise Covalt (Brian); his grandchildren, Mark Alberti (Heather Kenner), Brett Alberti (Amber Fox), Ben Valdes, Eddie Covalt and Ella Benden; and his great grandchild Collin Alberti. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
