She was predeceased by: her sister Melissa Smith; and her grandparents, David, Hilda Keeton, James and Pauline Smith.
She is survived by: her parents, Richard Smith and Shirley Smith (Keeton); her husband Douglass James "DJ" Thompson; her children, Akyera, Aaliyah, Adisyn, Aizlyn and Titus Thompson; and her grandfather Joe Gill. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles.
