He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Nicol and Anna Adams Nicol; his daughter Tammy Elkins; his stepson Tracy Scott Hendershot; his brother Thomas Nicol; and his parents-in-law, Buck and Patricia Iser.
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Iser Nicol; his children, Ken Nicol (Lindsay), Greentree, Virginia Shreaves (Mark) of Williamsburg, VA and Crystal Gill (Bernie); his siblings, Robert Nicol (Jackie), Priscilla Pander (Ron) and Lisa Boyer; and his friend Marsha Tatsch. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
