It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Kayafas (Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania), born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Kayafas and Sophia Kayafas (Kirlangitis); and his siblings, Milton Kayafas and Mary Lakios. He is survived by: his wife Lois Kayafas (Forester); his children, Sophia Contes (John), Connie Kaiser and Dr. Christopher Kayafas (Lisa); his grandchildren, Alexa Bovalino (Jared), Zachary Contes (Lenia), Vassie Delmonico (Jake), Aristotle Contes (Carissa), Mia McGeary (Clayton), Nicholas Kaiser, Demi Kaiser, Lucas Kayafas, Noah Kayafas and Zoe Kayafas; his great grandchildren, Arietta, Constantine, Elenna, Vassiana, Sophia, Zoe, Yianni, Anthony, Nico, Carmella, Panagiota, Leonidia, Everett and Abel; and his brother Pete Kayafas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
