He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Ross and Caroline Ross (Thomas); and his siblings, George "Skip" Ross, Eddie Knapp and Betty Safreed.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ross (Black); his sons, John D. Ross (Joanne) and Scott T. Ross (Jackie); his grandsons, Christopher Ross (Amber), Joshua Ross and Benjamin Ross; and his niece Barbara Mihalik. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
