He is survived by: his wife Jan Hilscher; his children, Jay Hilscher Jr. and Lindsay Freeman (Ryan); his stepchildren, Ron Cramer (Julieann White), Andy Cramer (Courtney) and Monica Carusone (Anthony); his grandchildren, Isaac, Amelia, Evelyn, Aria (Ethan Hilscher), Kennedy Cramer, Anthony Jr. and Carusone; and his siblings, Hyde Woodhall Hilscher (Susan) and Lorraine Mossbarger.
