He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Mussey and Rose Ramella Mussey; his wife Ethelberta Smith Mussey; his former wife Beatrice Mussey; his uncle Frank Ramella; his children, Robert Glenn Mussey, Gale Joseph Mussey and Glenna Jean Dripps; his sisters, Jean Curtis and Ruth Cook; and his children-in-law, Michael Wickline and Jocelyn Mussey.

He is survived by: his children, Guy James Mussey (Barbara), Gary John Mussey (Kelly), Gregory Jay Mussi (Lynda), Garth Jeffrey Mussey (Joanne), Gretchen June Wickline, Ginger Joan Geizura and Gerard Jason Mussey; and his daughter-in-law Katherine "Kathy" Mussey. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
