He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Kullen and Sadie Kullen-Trella (Krosnodemski); his wife Helen J. Kullen (Borkovich); his son Billy Joe Kullen; and his brothers, Pete and Gene Kullen.
He is survived by: his son Girard A. "Bud"; his daughter-in-law Colleen Kullen; his grandchildren, Girard S. Kullen II (Lauren), Dr. Brady Kullen (Rosalie), Cory Kullen (Danielle) and Dirienzi (Joe) of Kansas; and his great grandchildren, Julian, Ezra and Captain Kullen.
