He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Blobner and Caroline Blobner (Gabauer); his wife Karen Blobner (Fromm); and his siblings, Joseph, Anthony, Frank Blobner, Betty Genevieve, Emma Blobner and Clara Zupsic.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Skvarla (Jeffrey), Valerie Cook and Melanie Lokomski; and his grandchildren, David McCormick and Hailey Cook.
