We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2021, at the age of 67, Edward Sondheimer (Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold D. Sondheimer and Naomi Sondheimer (Soodik). He is survived by: his brother Norman; his sister-in-law Emily Sondheimer of Avon, CT; his sister Marci; his brother-in-law David Landis of Natick, MA; his nieces and nephews, Jessica Sondheimer, Jonathan, Shiri Sondheimer, Haviva Landis and Bina Landis; his great-nephew Isidor; and his great-niece Zora Sondheimer. He is also survived by many loving cousins, and wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beaver County YMCA, the McGuire Memorial Home, or The Larry Bruno Foundation.

“Ed was an Industry Icon that was a friend to my family for over 45 years as he was to his countless customers. Ed will be sadly missed by so many that had the honor of being associated with him. He was direct and honest and always ready to offer up words of wisdom, that were usually spot on. He was funny and sharp minded and his employees were an extension of his family. Ed loved finding the next great restaurant and it was like his hobby. Rest in peace my friend. With deepest sympathies.”
