He is survived by: his children, Michael A. Smith and Janet S. Smith; his grandchildren, Jill A. Heaney (Patrick), Jenica L. Berk, Jewel Lee Casciato (Jared), Christy M. Eiler (Griffin), Jeffrey C. Smith, Christopher L. Smith and Paul M. Smith; and his nephew Gary Campbell. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
