He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Whipple and Hilda Whipple (Belvin); and his brothers, Clarence "Pete" Whipple and Ronald Whipple. He is survived by: his wife Marlene A. Whipple (Verrico); his sons, Bryan Whipple and Bradley Whipple; his granddaughter Lindsay Whipple; his siblings, Gary Whipple (Janet), Keith Whipple, Robert Whipple (Crystal) and Shirley Germer (Tom); and his in-laws, Cindy Swaoger (Jim) and Jody McCarty (Rich). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
