She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernard Newton and Angelica Newton (Bevivino); her son Don Finch Jr.; and her grandson Michael Vasalech Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Amanda, Michael Vasalech, Melissa Petrow, Devin Davis and David Petrow Jr.; her grandchildren, James Sims, Johnathin Vasalech, Aaliyah Bailey and Jezzeble Davis; and her siblings, Beverly Newton-Crowl, Bonnie Dorchnic, Brenda Schneider and Vernard "Butch" Newton Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
